Very chaotic and THE MOST unprofessional process I have ever been a part of. The first meeting, I was asked to be there at 4 pm. Showed up 10 mins early but waited until 4:30 before the owner got off the phone to meet me. That's fine, I understand people can get stuck on a call, but how about the courtesy to let me know. The receptionist never said anything to me until I asked. I don't blame her though. I got the sense she was scared. I almost left but she persuaded me to stay. That was my biggest mistake. This was the first indication that these guys don't really care about anyone other than themselves and the people paying the bills, e.g. the clients. They certainly showed they didn't care about my time.
Once I got in, the actual interview with the CEO was great - he is a jovial, dynamic guy and we had solid 2 way conversation for over an hour. I left the meeting feeling pretty good about it. After a few weeks of back and forth phone calls, including an early Saturday morning call to my cell phone (another red flag as it indicated that they expected their new employee to be available at all times), I was asked back to meet with an outside adviser. They started that meeting by insulting me. Conversation was more difficult and I felt under attack most of the time. Even still, after leaving that meeting I thought things were still positive between us and thought it would progress to an offer. We had a couple back and forth phone calls over the course of the next few MONTHS and finally they scheduled a final interview a week later. The day before that interview, the CEO's admin called to say he no longer wanted to meet with me. That was it. Never spoke to them again
