Very rigorous for an internship. Interviewed with three people: two in-person and one via skype with Washington office. In the first interview I believe they screen you for your presentation-they want to make sure you look like a normal human being. As one can imagine, the Council is a fairly conservative work environment. All the women look like Harward law students and the men look like they belong to a New England Yacht club. With that said I didn't get any sense of pretentious behavior. People that interviewed me were approachable and super nice.
