You are asked to come to their office in person. You will fill out paperwork. They will request to photocopy your documents. You will have an informal interview with an assistant manager. They will tell you that you need to do some course that they grade, tell you answers to and then let you correct your mistakes(if you need to apply for a guard card). Your background in law enforcement does not help you get any higher pay as they will claim that security is quite different.

Why do you want to work here? What did you do before? Why did you leave prior employer? What are you strengths? weaknesses? what type of sites would you want to work? Given that they primarily work hospitals, high rise buildings, and some office buildings, you better say you like one of those.

Entrevista
I responded to an add in Craigslist for open interviews. I dressed for success and went in to the main office and applied. Later I was called in and had an interview with the operations manager. The interview was fairly relaxed and conversation based. I was told of about three positions that was opened and allowed to choose which site I desired to work and was hired on the spot.

I had law enforcement experience so my interview may have been a little bit different. I did not encounter any scenario questions are anything that stumped me. A nice conversation interview where I was able to discuss what I could offer the company.
