To say Cornerstone OnDemand has its act together when it comes to recruiting and hiring is an understatement. The process is positive, methodical and efficient. I first interviewed with a team head for the division I’m joining and, then, with two of the principal consultants who work with him. My conversations with all three were in-depth and wide-ranging. Soon thereafter, a recruiter contacted me. She was welcoming, engaging and highly knowledgeable in addressing and answering questions. After receiving and signing the offer letter, I reached out to the global vice president who leads the division and thanked him. Everyone has been incredibly responsive, and I cannot wait for my start date.

The overall interview process took around 4 -5 weeks. I participated in multiple one-on-one phone interviews. Although the interview process took longer than expected the recruiter and hiring manager did a good job of continuously communicating with me which made the process a lot less stressful.

The Hiring process was typical for a consultant position. Initially contact was made via email followed by an initial phone screening.
Over a period of about two (2) months, various phone/conference screenings or interviews took place; the eventual outcome was a visit to the corporate head quarters in Santa Monica for a face-to-face interview (All expenses were paid by the interested party).
All interviews conducted over the phone were standard interviews except for one which was conducted by the manager of sales, he wanted to know more about you in greater detail (This is typical of a salesperson, trying to bridge the gap in regard to person to person communications).
Interview questions were standard, strengths and weakness questions, background explanations, work experience application, etc.
One aspect that was different during the interview was the company's desire to to understand your viewpoint on their business model and direction they should go in ... interesting concept.
