It was a video interview, due to Covid. There was a rough start because, in an effort to not have any distractions, I put the phone on Do Not Disturb mode. That means the audio for the video call was turned off... And they told me to download one app, when in reality, there was a completely different app I needed for the video call. There was no initial phone interview. 99% of the time was spent by the interviewer talking, explaining the basics to me, like job positions, benefits, and the next steps if my interview proceeded. Incredibly easy interview, only one question was asked. A few days later, they asked for a copy of my diploma, and to submit a background check. Now, I'm supposed to get an eye exam, and do a drug test, but I have yet to get an email telling me when to go... I start work in 2 weeks. HR is kind of sluggish, it's a little concerning.
