Interview process was messy. The recruiter forgot to reply to my email and I had to contact her multiple times to hear back. I was eager to work with this company. After reaching out I was scheduled an interview that went south halfway through. I applied for a lower level position because I know my skill set and what I’m capable of only to be told I wasn’t a good fit. I disagree with that assumption and others that empathy can’t be taught like your standard skill set. Fortunately I know I do not lack in either department. Needless to say I was patronized and was told my resume would be sent to multiple directors, so I expected to get at least an interview, I did not I value honesty more than anything in these interviews but it seems nowadays hospitals are okay with you pretending to be the perfect candidate and that just doesn’t exist. We live in a world where we have to sell ourselves and that’s more valued than honesty. The way I was treated, in this patronizing way; has only motivated me to work for a better institution.

The interview process was pleasant. They were kind and welcoming, and they asked situational questions along with HR type of questions. They also gave me a tour of the unit.
