I had a very bad experience with the organization's laid back approach of confusing the candidate and wasting their time with four rounds of interview, then communicating that they have been selected, salary negotiation...only to finally tell that the time they thought they are hiring for is night (US) shift. Please note that when we started the interview process, the timing communicated was 8am - 5pm. Then in the interview process, I grasped myself that I'll only be working with US stakeholders and hence, I went back to HR (in India) and confirmed if the timing communicated is correct, they got back after a day to tell that it is a UK time job...still the exact timing was not communicated. Finally after salary negotiation and taking my details, they conveyed the offer verbally. Strangely so, they then called to say that we'll not include the compensation in your Letter of Intend and we will only provide you the offer letter 2-3 days before your joining. I am currently working in big 4 so it was not acceptable to me to put down my papers just based on LOI so that's when I realised something was fishy. I pressed to get everything including compensation in the offer but they just disappeared after that for 3 weeks, imagine! After number of messages and calls, finally I was told it is a night shift job till 4 am and if I agree, they can give the offer.... In my career of 6 years so far, worst interview process...they don't know what and which time are they hiring for! Better not choose this firm if you want a secure future, I'd suggest! :)
