I applied online to their general application, and received an email with some interview questions to respond to. After sending in my answers, I was sent a link with another set of questions, which tested how I react to certain situations at work. A week later I was contacted via email to have an in-person interview scheduled. Following the interview, I was asked to come back for a stage shift. After working the hour-long stage shift, I was told it had been too slow of a night, so I was asked to come back another night. When I completed the second stage, I received only positive feedback on my performance, and was told by the manager they “didn’t want to pass up this opportunity” to work with me. A week later I received an email from someone I hadn’t worked with during the interview process, which said I was not chosen to be hired. Huh? Definitely disappointing after being led on about having a position in the company, and also having such an extensive interview process—including going in-person three times, and working two hours for free.

Wow what a totally humiliating interview process. First interview was at one location, second "working interview" at another, third "stage interview" at a different location. First one , the interviewer had no smiles and just passes you through with minimal questions except for one of the famous three completely inane questions the company is famous for:what is a time you failed, a time you quit, what would your autobiography be. What does any of that have to do with a labor job? Second interview he has you fill two ice buckets and carry them back to the well while he just watches. A total age and disability discrimination there. Any company who actually cares about employee health would have a cart available for two buckets to save the employee's shoulders and back. He has you make two drinks and if you get these two, Fill the Yarai with ice all the way up ask 3 questions for Manhattan, up or on the rocks, rye or bourbon, twist or cherry. No one does this but whatever, if you get asked to make a Daiquiri, ask for a big cube cut it in half.No pay for the stage.

What did you fail at and overcome? Just say anything bc their eyes glaze over when you respond anyway. You can tell they hate asking the questions.
