Received e-mail from internal recruiter requesting time to speak and I said I was available all week. Didn't get a reply. Then e-mailed her again and she sent a calendar request. The phone screen was secured. The recruiter then called me 10 minutes late which is unacceptable. The recruiter then explained that she recruits sales people and therefore knew nothing about accounting and finance. She gave the usual pitch that company is growing so fast blah blah blah. She went through my background and asked too many irrelevant questions which really didn't relate to the job description. I explained I am looking to work for a good company and was honest. She said ok we can be honest also and we already have some finalists coming in for in person interview. So 25-30 minutes of my time was wasting by a rude recruiter. I would really be careful when dealing with these startups and I am sure there accounting is a mess.
