Given a very expansive written test that you could work on for one hour. That was gone over by another engineer while a normal interview went on with other employees. There was an interview with the hiring manager and an interview about project work with a few other engineers, like a panel interview.

Nothing was too difficult, they just asked you to fill in the areas of the test that you knew, so not really a pass/fail situation, just a "what do you know" situtation.

Applied for it and had an informal chat with the head of the department. The process was a bit of a mess, received 4 invitations to different meetings and an email the day before to say the interview was in-person.
The interview itself was fairly informal and friendly. Was told I'd reached the next stage and then received an email to say there had been a change in circumstances.
Overall friendly but disorganised.

Round 3: Group interview with other applicants
Round 4: JAM session with four different interviewers
Round 5: HR roound
Conducted group interviews with all applicants.

It was team meeting scheduled for 1 hour. Not so much technical but asked areas you have worked on so far and the technology that you have worked in your project. It was very smooth interview process.
