Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Compa Technologies en mar 2025
Entrevista
Initial screen with a very young team lead / hiring manager. Scheduled 2 "leetcode style interviews" plus a systems design interview. Rejected. Scheduling 3 interviews at once then canceling the latter ones when rejecting the candidate seems disorganized and to demonstrate a lack thought and foresight. Believing that 2 "leetcode style interviews" is a good way to evaluate candidates is a red flag for the company.
There are four total interviews, including two technical interviews, one white boarding interview, and one behavioral interview with the CEO. They are quite responsive and will sent the next email with the link to schedule the next meeting.
Your typical SWE job interview process where 5+ years of experience are completely discounted because you ran into two algorithm questions with patterns you hadn't seen before. Across four interviews, there was no discussion about past work experiences or projects - the only thing that mattered was two Leetcode questions. In the rejection email, they even admitted that technical interviews offer a limited view of candidates, and yet the interview comprised only of technical interviews. Multiple interviewers also mentioned that the engineering team was struggling with finishing work on time. I wonder if they want to hire people who can do the job, or just people who can solve Leetcode questions?
