I went through a lengthy, multi-stage interview process over two months—including multiple Zoom interviews and an in-person presentation where I was asked to share strategic ideas for improving a key process. The feedback was consistently positive, and I was even told I’d be a great fit for other roles. Despite this, communication was poor throughout: I had to follow up after every round due to missed timelines, and the final interview invite was mistakenly addressed to another candidate. After all of that, I received a generic rejection email encouraging me to apply again in the future—no personalized feedback or acknowledgement of the effort I put in. It left me feeling like my time and input weren’t truly valued. Disappointing experience overall.
