Met with the owner in the breakfast room. He was very polite. He was more concerned with my availability more so than my experience or what attributes I could bring to the table. He needed someone right away, and sounded a bit desperate. He had just purchased the hotel, and had turnover in every department. He is also from India, so I think he wanted an american face as manager to avoid any guests or employees from not wanting to stay/work here because of that.
