Entrevista
I applied online and then was asked to do a HackerRank challenge. The questions were medium to hard on Leetcode. Then I received a questionnaire asking me to let them know how many years of experience I have with 4 different topics:
* Machine learning
* coding and software development skills, particularly in Python and Julia
* Experience with at least one of the Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Experience working with the WikiData data set
I had significant amount of experience with all of them except for the last point. They replied saying I wasn't accepted.
If you expect people to invest 2 hours in a HackerRank challenge, let them know beforehand that they must have experience with WikiData, otherwise they won't be considered.

Entrevista
There were three rounds after the recruiter screen. First was a coding/design round. Second was hiring manager round. Third was a design + leet code style round. In third round there were two interviewers. I believe one was shadowing. Main interviewer came late. We started with an ML design question. This was so out of touch from ML, I don't even know how he was senior ML at Comcast. Anyway, he kept combating and interrupting me the whole time. At one point he suggested using information gain as loss function in a neural n/w :) . Anyway then there was a leetcode style question in second half of the round for which he didn't even consider giving 2 mins extra even though he joined late.

It was a phone interview; but, the employees at Comcast couldn't figure out how to use the conference phone, so I ended up waiting 20 minutes on the line. Fortunately, the Comcast recruiter got ahold of the people by cell phone.
Everyone was pleasant and apologetic. However, 4 weeks after the interview there was no follow-up. From what I'm told, this is normal. Comcast will interview people to try and get a feel for what the landscape looks like. I think, eventually, potential employees will see the pattern.

Questions about python, Machine Learning, whether papers had been published, questions on recursions. Oddly enough, the questions were simple... However, one person spoke very bad english and it was not possible to understand what he was saying.
In Machine Learning there are a lot of acronyms PCA, R^2, TSNE, ReLU, Sigmoid... but for the life of me I couldn't understand what the person was saying.
