This was the worst interview experience I’ve had possibly ever. However, it started off just fine. The recruiter was really pleasant. The hiring manager was decent as well. Then I was scheduled for an in person interview which is where the problems started. I sent multiple emails to verify the office procedures & parking ahead of the interview & received a late response to only 1 question. During the interview, the culture was described as “old boys’ club”. I learned that other employees get upset & slam doors. They stand over you to make their requests. You need to be in the office in order to be productive. It seems the office is really outdated & this group shares in the boomer work culture. I was immediately turned off & didn’t continue the interview process. It’s unfortunate people are subjected to that type of behavior in 2021.
I got a phone call got an over the phone interview with a member of the team. They called me at the appointed hour and asked questions about my experience, past employment, etc.
4 interviews, met them at lunch was casual conversation, 1 couldn't make it so i did the other interview in the office, nothing too technical. Not a bad process. Discussed resume, experience, what my value is to the team.
The interview was straightforward and not complicated. Just three interviews; one with the recruiter, one with the manager, and one with the client. I was offered a position and accepted it.
