I completed several rounds of interviews including ones with the studio manager and CTO. It included a homework assignment, which is the best way of gauging a candidate's technical ability IMHO. These several rounds involved a fair amount of time on both sides to complete. Surprisingly, I was ghosted. I didn't even get an automated rejection email. Being rejected is normal and part and parcel of interviewing but this was really unprofessional. Hopefully, somebody at Cold Iron reads this and adjusts their interviewing process to catch what I hope was a genuine mistake. A candidate should be kept informed even if they didn't make the cut.
