I was contacted by a recruiter and set up a phone interview that went about 30 minutes, and later that week they called me in for face-to-face interviews that lasted about 2 hours. From the recruiter contacting me to the face-to-face interviews, the entire process took five days. I spoke with various managers, usually 2 at a time, in half-hour sessions. Everyone was friendly and professional. However, the major issue was that they did not have any expertise in SAP ABAP and could not assess my technical qualifications at all. They went through my resume and asked about different workplace situations and other STAR/behavioral questions and came back and told me that I was both overqualified and not a good fit. At least they had the courtesy of getting back to me within two days of the interview, though I still question why they had me interview with folks who had no technical expertise about the duties of the position they were interviewing me for.
