Got referred through a friend. Submitted some sample code, got a phone interview from the CEO. Then scheduled onsite. It was a lunch interview with some onsite interviews. I found myself to have the exact skill sets they are looking for. The CEO and I had read lots of the same books on bioinformatics. So, we had a great conversation. The onsite interview was mostly just talking with people from all sorts of roles, such as sales, programmers, scientists, directors, etc, just to make sure your personality fits in the company culture. I would say, it was relaxed and polite.
