Just Meh Talk with the recruiter and you'll know they pay below-market in SF. I went through this for the sake of interview practice but the question they ask is too simple for a transferable interview experience and pair-programming isn't very common in most interviews in tech cities. Go through with them if you want; maybe the SF housing bubble will pop because of Covid. But it doesn't make sense to move to a more expensive city for less money for the most of us.
