Surprised any self-respecting client would hire Codal. They expect interviewees to work on weekends/OOO, and can only assume how little they respect their actual employee's work-life balance. Was also told by people inside they hired an intern to fill a full-time product position. Makes sense if they hired a previous intern but they hired an intern IN PLACE of a full-time position. Seem like they are running out of cash.

I applied through LinkedIn, then I completed an assessment sent through email. After that, I had a call with a HR, then she scheduled a call with another person (the direct report for this role I think). I had the interview with that person, and got another coding online assessment. I did not pass the coding assessment.

I applied on LI and got an email response immediately (however, the recruiter used the wrong name). She responded and we set up an initial phone interview. She was very excited about me and my skill set and told me I was moving to the next round before we hung up the phone. I sent a follow-up email and never heard from her. I sent another one 3 days later and nothing. It's been 3 months and this company has completely ghosted me. It's so unprofessional. I was excited about the opportunity on the phone but I was not interested in following up after the 2nd email that went unanswered. DO NOT tell people they are moving to the next round and then never answer. What a waste of time and energy.
