Had 2 round of interviews after an initial 30 min recruiter screen. Both were 1 hr long, one with the hiring manager and the other with a department director.
Interviews weren't particularly difficult. Revolved around my work experience and what the role was for. They are also able to move through the process quickly. Would've had an onsite next round if I was able to make it to the final stage.
Negatives are the interviewers/recruiter won't share feedback if you don't make it through, which is unfortunate considering the time spent prepping for the interview. I have a feeling they aren't actually intending to hire someone, at least externally, and that they're just interviewing people to data mine candidates or fulfill some metric requirement before selecting internally. The process moved a little too fast to feel like they weoghed my application seriously against other candidates, so beware if you feel like things are being rushed. Also, hiring manager did seem disinterested in me since the beginning of the call, as if the decision has already been made.
