Entrevista
The interview process went swiftly (~ 3 weeks from application to rejection). First round was a call with an HR recruiter gaging experience and personality and salary requirements. Since this was a new role I was told they were still hashing out the details but my expectations of pay were not out of line.
Next was two back to back 30 min Zoom calls with members of CX. Both asked easy, canned interview questions. At this point I was informed they were hiring for TWO similar but broken out enablement roles and to choose which one I was more interested in (never got the JD for either).
Then I was required to complete a 4-pronged case study centering on how CX should handle a marketing request. This took a few hours but had a 72 hour window for return which was plenty of time to complete.
Final round was with the head of Enablement. A simple 30 minute Zoom call. Nothing difficult or out of the ordinary. I was told job offers would go out by the end of the next week.
Four days later I received a generic rejection email that my background was not in alignment with what the hiring manager was looking for. I was kind of stunned. If my background wasn't compatible then why make me complete an exercise to showcase my skills? If background was what actually mattered then that should have been discussed early on in the interview process. Why waste my time (and your employees' time) on tests and meetings with upper management?
I asked for more specific feedback but haven't heard anything back. Could this have something to do with their recent acquisition by Mindbody? I noticed many of their job listings just disappeared out of thin air.

What information would you need marketing to give to CX in regards to an upcoming promo?
