3 rounds. First with recruiter, second with a panel of two peers, third with hiring manager and director of department. Panel interview was very strange, not very friendly and no follow up questions on answers. It was scheduled for an hour and was immediately told everyone else interviewed only got 30 mins. Not sure why that was shared. Moved to final round with hiring manager and director. Director didn't show up, and spoke with hiring manager who has been in role for 2 weeks. Interview lasted 10 minutes and could not answer questions about role expectations or responsibilities as it's a new department and role. Overall a very odd experience.
