The interview was pretty straightforward and casual. I first had a quick phone screening where they asked about my availability and interest in the role. Then, I went in for an in-person interview at the store. The manager was friendly and asked questions about my experience, how I’d handle busy rushes, and working as part of a team. It felt more like a conversation, and they really emphasized customer service and teamwork. Overall, it was a smooth and easy process.

How would you handle a long line of customers while making sure each order is made correctly and quickly?
The interview was conducted by the same person who had written the article for me. It is not clear how many of these are actually published in this article. In a separate article published by the interviewer in February on his website.

The manager made me wait at a table for about an hour before she came to the interview dressed in sweatpants. She seemed very annoyed that I was there and was very quick with her interview. She only asked me three questions so I was sure I wouldn’t get it. Then about two weeks later she called me saying I got accepted much to my surprise because she seemed like she didn’t like me. I ended up rejecting the offer because it did not seem like a good work environment and I already got a job elsewhere. Good for people who want to be hired quickly but don’t expect to be treated well at the interview.
