I applied online and after about 2 weeks after I have forgotten that I turned in the application, they called me back for an interview. When I got there, there was about 6 other people, so I knew that it was going to be a group interview. It was pretty nerve-wracking especially if you have never went to a group interview before. We were interviewed standing outside in a circle, by one of the managers, and an assistant manager. The questions were fairly easy and what you would expect at a normal food services place. There were a few people who were really quiet so the manager directed a question or two at the those people near the end of the interview. After that interview was finished, I got a callback the next day, for a second interview. The second interview was pretty nice. I was the only person there, and I talked with another manager, who introduced herself, and told me about Chipotle and what they stand for. There was not a lot of questions, so I was sometimes added in some comments to gain more points just in case. I don't know if that helped. I got a restaurant tour, and met with all the crew members although I only was able to say hi to all of them, we didn't talk that much. After the tour was over, I asked some questions. and asked when I was going to know if i was going to be hired. She said that she was going to decide it right then and there with the other crew members. After about five minutes waiting outside, she walked out and told me that I am hired. Overall, the interview process was not easy, the manager from the second interview told me that I was the only one chosen from the group interview session that I went to, so you really have to try to stand out in the first interview to get a second interview. The interview process was smooth for me probably because there is so much information online about the interview process, and what they look for in their employees. Remember to talk about food with integrity, and keep in mind the 13 characteristics that they look for, and you'll be fine.
