I was interviewed for some anonymous position which the HR till the end of the interview rounds wont disclose. The process was mentioned to be phone screening for 1 hour and a F2F in their work area.
The second round of F2F was way unprofessional and was taken without an idea about testing lifecycle, best practices, automation lifecycle, where and when should it be implemented. I thought a second round would more likely revolve around talk about efficiently implementing my experience and upscaling it for company and career benefit but clearly that was not. The interviewer interviews me like a fresher, keeps asking you vague questions like have you used this, have you used that(I doubt there was a connect between different interview panels.
I am informed that I should not, expect benefits like TCS, Infosys. An interviewer representing the company should talk about the benefits the company provides not what the candidate should or should not expect.
I later came out and mailed to the HR irrespective of the feedback not to go ahead with the profile, since I did not like the way it went.
