Over a month after I submitted my application, I got an email to have a call with the recruiter. They did not warn me, I just heard the "this is being recorded" bot when the call started. I did not get past the first interview despite having three years of Credentialing Experience, this job paying less than average, and really feeling like I connected with the recruiter. Prior to the interview I had read the other interview experiences, and it was pretty similar. The recruiter I chatted with talked about how if I made it to the next steps I would have to take this "ravens" assessment, and when I asked what it was testing for, she described an IQ test, which, might I remind you, is illegal and a form of discrimination. The other glass door reviews had me questioning if I really wanted this job, but the interview confirmed I didn't want this job. They also do MANUAL credentialing, which is insane, for a company boasting about themselves so much, they should really invest in some software. I am glad I wasn't offered a follow up interview, I didn't feel like writing an "I'd like to rescind my application" email.
I never expect recruiters to understand what a credentialing specialist does, but the way she talked was eerie. As if she had been doing the job and had a CPCS, when her linked in clearly states she's only ever been a recruiter. She was clearly human, but it was too polished, to the point it was uncomfortable, which I guess is a compliment. She was kind, don't get me wrong, It was just not an enjoyable experience for me.
