It was a standard interview process for IB. I talked to many people in the team (more than expected). There was no excel test / case study, but I was asked technician questions.
It was a typical first-round interview. The usual behavioral and technical questions. They threw in some brain-teaser statistical questions, but with basic statistical skills, you should be fine. Other than that, it was a pretty straight forward process.
