I interviewed virtually with the hiring manager and was asked to come in for the next round. Spoke with him upon arriving and got a mini tour of the warehouse/office. Did my 2 interviews and was asked for references the next day. On Thursday the following week, they asked me to come in to speak with the president. Kept saying they were finalizing a decision and a month later it wasn’t me. Jumped through a lot of hoops all for nothing.

It felt non transparent and they don't really have a unique product. They ask generic questions nothing special or very specific about product management or even product development. Maybe it's the HR people that don't have enough knowledge of what the role entails just like a basic overview.

They inquired about my experience with a runway show, which was for a knockoff sportswear brand that closely resembles more established labels. I found it intriguing and couldn't help but wonder whether runway shows still effectively drive sales for such brands—it felt somewhat outdated and pretentious.
