I went through 4 rounds of interview and the last round of interview was with the VP of research. And the recruiter ghosted me afterwards. I had an offer from another organization and needed to know the outcome soon, so I can make a decision. I emailed three times across 2 weeks to get an update, and he never responded. I spent almost one month to interview with them, and I deserved a respond even though it was probably a rejection. The recruiter destroyed the admiration I had for Cengage, and I will never apply for the jobs there again. This process also made me feel that the company is not what I thought was.

I spent so much time interviewing with them and at least I deserve a response. The recruiter ghosted me completely. This made realize that this company is not what I thought was. I will never apply for the jobs at Cengage again.
