      Solicité el puesto a través de una agencia de empleo. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Cellular Asset Management (Chertsey, England) en mar 2014

      Entrevista

      The Interview started as expected with a small written exam. Then the company's operational manager started by asking few questions about my past experiences when the interview was abruptly interrupted and Neil was asked to join those who are waiting for him outside the room. The next person walked in was supposed to test my technical competency for the role, In my opinion the second Interviewer's appearance, attire and manner did not match the standard criteria for an Engineering position interview and the Interviewer's mobile phone rang on 2 occasions, a small technicality that will not be forgiven for a candidate... The whole process was brief (about 30 minutes) and the outcome was unsuccessful. having only 2 candidates for the role, the other candidate is a friend of an employee in the company who is living locally and worked in a similar role for a similar company according to the recruitment agency (bluefire Consulting). In my opinion it appeared as if they invited me merely to tick the equal opportunity box …

      Thank you for attending an interview with us. There are certain inaccuracies with your perception of the situation that I would like to clarify. Firstly, we would always recommend that contact is made with the relevant recruitment agency to receive formal feedback on the outcome of any selection process. We run a fair and structured recruitment process that assesses all candidates in a standard manner. In this case, candidates completed a written technical test and underwent an interview with a senior manager and senior engineer. As this posting is anonymous, we are unable to detail the specific reasons you were unsuccessful. We can however confirm that the successful candidate achieved the highest score on the technical test out of all the 9 candidates interviewed and demonstrated strong practical experience of the type of work we undertake.
