I was contacted by the recruiting quickly after I submitted my application. A phone conversation was set up with one of the recruiters. When I spoke to the recruiter, it was her first couple of weeks at the company. She seemed unprepared and had a side conversation with the main recruiting lead (I could tell because we were on video). Since she was new, it felt like I was being used as a “practice” for her. She didn’t even know what the position did to answer any questions. Interview questions were very standard. She told me I would hear back about next steps within 24 hours (which didn’t happen). I then emailed the lead recruiter for an update and was told they were not moving forward. No reasons why. Couldn’t they have at least reached out as a courtesy, instead of leaving me hanging until I reached out? Overall, very unprofessional process. I would not recommend.
