The first step in the interview process was a phone call with HR to discuss the role, go over the highlights of my resume, and ask questions.
Next, was an one-hour panel interview using the STAR method.

Professional interview experience, but lengthy process and unclear final feedback
Overall experience: Positive
I recently went through the interview process for a Chief Accountant position. Overall the experience was professional and the people involved were respectful and well prepared.
The process started with a discussion with the talent manager, who was approachable and transparent about the role and the organization. This was followed by a Teams meetng with the hiring manager and later a panel interview with the hiring manager, HR manager and another business stakeholder. The professional discussion itself was constructive and engaging, and the hiring manager in particular seemed very focused on the operational and leadership aspects of the role.
The overall atmosphere during the interviews was positive and professional, and I appreciated the time both the talent manager and the hiring manager invested in the conversations.
The main downside of the process was its length and the final feedback. The selection process already took about a month and would have included an additional round with a senior manager abroad. Despite the expectation during the interview that candidates should provide clear and decisive answers, the final feedback I received was somewhat difficult to reconcile with the otherwise professional and constructive tone of the discussion, and it was challenging to translate it into concrete improvement areas.
More specific or actionable feedback would have been helpful, especially considering the time invested by both sides during the process.
Overall, the discussions themselves were valuable and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the team and the organization.
