Entrevista
I applied for the position in fall of my senior year of college after speaking with a recruiter at a job fair. I had an hour long onsite interview with two representatives from the quality department that was almost entirely behavioral based questions. I then was asked to attend an onsite interview event. The event was held in October at a hotel local to a plant and spanned 2 days. At this event, there were at least two dozen other candidates. We networked with several Cargill employees over meals, information sessions, and a tour of the site. There were two hour-long interviews with Cargill employees at the end of the event. A few weeks later, I received an offer but was not given a location. I provided my top three choices and had to accept the position on good faith. For university recruiting for this position, in my case, at least, you are not told which plant you will work at until the spring. I found out in March where I would be moving that May to begin working. The drug test could not be administered until after the location was given, so this came ~four months after the job was accepted.

After talking with Cargill at a job fair the previous day, I had an interview the next day. Their were two people at the interview. They described the total process as one interview first, and then a weekend site visit if you are invited back. This visit is late fall every year. The interview contained standard questions as well as more technical chemistry questions.

Entrevista
Spoke with a recruiter at a university career fair, and had an on-campus interview the following week. I was then notified that a dozen candidates would be brought to Omaha for a second round of interviews. This first day involved a tour of the plant, a Q&A session with current employees, and dinner with the other candidates and hiring managers. This was all very casual with continual opportunity to ask questions about the position/company. The second day started very early with a short benefits presentation followed by two 1 hour interviews. Mainly behavioral-based questions with a few concept questions specific to your major; nothing was too daunting, and the interviewers were all friendly.
Received a phone call three days later from HR, stating that they wished to extend an offer. Because of shuffling between the multiple plants, a salary and location could not be provided at that time. Cargill was very understanding of my situation, and encouraged me to continue talking with other companies while they sorted things out on their end. I notified HR when I received an offer from another company (appx. two weeks after the Omaha trip), and received a call two days later with salary and location information.

The process began at a university career fair and a first-round interview the following day on campus. The interview was fair and straightforward. I received a call two week later to have a plant tour and second round interview. The second round was a bit more intense, but again nothing unexpected. I received an offer 3 weeks after the second round.
