The interview went very smoothly after submitting my resume informally. I was told I had the job and would be the perfect fit. All I had to do was submit the formal application through the website and I would receive a phone call confirming everything in the next day or two so I could start the next week. They even recommended that I put in my two weeks notice at my current position to create a smoother transition. I did everything recommended as stated, sending in the letter of resignation, but I did not receive the phone call or any communication . I followed up several times and was reassured that it would be coming soon. Then, after reaching out again (the day before they said they wanted me to be starting) they said that the job had been given to someone else. No formal update on the application. No follow up with a phone call. Just a “sorry, we chose someone else”. I was overpromised a position that the interviewer later stated they had no authority to give. I don’t believe there were any intentional lies, but what I was told in the interview couldn’t be misconstrued or interpreted any other way. I left frustrated and worse off than I had started with my time being wasted. I do not recommend interviewing here. The benefits seemed great, and the pay was mediocre but I was excited to work with the people until this happened.
