I applied online and got an invite to do an in-person final interview at their Mclean, VA location. I interviewed in December 2019. The interview lasted 4 hours and consisted of three parts: a behavioral interview, a technical interview, and a "case study" interview, which was answering questions about a scenario where Capital One merged with a digital bank and involved debugging code. The interview also included lunch with employees who were mostly just out of college who talked about their experience working for Capital One and a tour of the office and facilities. I had my technical interview, then behavioral, then my case study interview. The interviews in general were not too difficult. I received a rejection 1-2 days later.
