It was a 2 days process, first was telephonic , then problem solving round at the office, then technical face to face, all 3 rounds were pretty good and it's of above average level but everything was ruined by managerial round which was completely chaos, the guy seems to be learning managerial skills asking all mugged up questions and asking me to write a code and explain which he does understand at all, then comes the actual issue, he started humiliating me by saying that they hire only from top IITs and they give values to them, as for non IITians they keep a track of them and the moment they sees them underperforming as compared to IITians they sack them, they don't have any place for underperforming employees and they do R&D level work which requires more of analysis which is done by analysis team not by developers, while from the previous interviewer only I came to know that they don't work on any banking projects (it's all done by USA folks) and the Indian folks work on technical help to USA folks not in terms of product development but in terms of tools enhancement and test cases and the interviewers(except the arrogant manager) were itself curious about my company and work and is interested in joining as I work for one of the top brand in the industry, all these behaviour of the employees reveals that what is the work condition in Capital One, so a kind word to the MANAGER, please don't try to be hypocrite in front of others, I came from a company where they hire from MIT and Harvard for their India office but that doesn't matter to me and the company as long as I am having knowledge and giving good service to the company, so keep all those IIT culture in your pocket no one cares about it, your company doesn't have any work in India office everyone knows that and it's public in all the forums
