Process includes recruiter reaching out, 3 round interview with hiring manager/team, and speaking to management in later round.
Very friendly recruiter and timely responsiveness through the process, however, this team is not honest with the scope of the role.
For example, in the job description on LinkedIn they mention that you will be involved in "portfolio construction" but the hiring manager told me that portfolio construction means reconciling trades to see that they are compliant with the portfolio guidelines. The hiring manager told me that this is an OPERATIONS role in the second interview and the first interviewer told me that this is a Portfolio Management role. I felt like I was deceived and this group is not honest about the job description relative to the job title. It is a support role helping portfolio managers reconcile trades, check compliance guidelines, and other ad hoc administrative tasks. It has nothing to do with portfolio management or capital markets.
