The interview process is exactly as they describe on their website. So they’re very transparent about timelines, who you’ll be meeting with, what’s expected, how many rounds, etc. There are a good bit of rounds, but again - they’re very transparent and thoughtful about this process, and they do their best to move efficiently, so I wasn’t bothered at all by it. I personally think that you need time to get to know the company, the team, the role, etc on both sides to really understand if this is a fit for both you and the company - and it makes sense to be thorough when culture add and culture fit are a top priority versus just filling a job req. 1. Recruiter screen 2. Hiring Manager screen 3. Peer/panel interview 4. Take home assessment 5. Final management/panel interview My recruiter was fantastic! I was never left wondering where I stood in the process at any point and I felt more than prepared at each round with the level of feedback I was given at each stage. I always knew what to expect next and could tell that the company even hires their recruiting team with purpose and diligence. The interviewers also had such thoughtful scenario questions to really understand your level of experience and how you would work in a team depending on what they were assigned (ie, culture, tech, actual day to day) - and you can tell they actually prep for it. While there are a good bit of rounds they clearly have a rhyme and reason for it and a plan and it’s evident by how efficient and transparent this whole process was. All in all I’d say it took maybe 3 weeks or a little longer? I appreciate each stage because it really gives you insight into the company and how a team will operate. You can tell it’s not the round robin 5+ interview for the heck of it like some other startups, but that they really developed a hiring plan that aligns to the company vision and values and are keen to protect that culture with the people they hire.
