The interview process consisted of several phone interviews with various managers followed by an on-site interview. The first phone interview was with the hiring manager, the second phone interview was the senior director, the third phone interview was with the sales director for North America. The on-site interview lasted a little over 6 hours and included lunch. Each of the on-site interviews had two people asking questions for about 1 hour.

Applied through LinkedIn and was contacted by the hiring team's HR business partner. Went through a series of interviews with HR partner, hiring manger, and then with various people on the team including management. During the interviews, was asked quite a few challenging questions but everyone was very professional in their questioning and responses. There were some marathon days of interviews but it was understandable considering what kind of person they wanted to hire. The negotiation process was very professional and fair. Overall, a very good interview process. The only downside after accepting a position was the security background check. When completing the online form, it never indicated the exact number of years needed as acceptable for verification. Cadence requires work verification for the previous 7 years which is not a typical number requested by companies. I didn't enter enough information in the online form, so I was contacted by Cadence security to provide at least 7 years prior works experience verification and the person requesting the information from Cadence was not very accommodating in helping to provide a list of alternate types of acceptable documentation nor will Cadence security contact your previous employers HR personnel even if you provide them with contact information for work verification. So be prepared to dig out old W2s from prior companies to complete verification or at least make sure you enter at least 7 years prior work experience when filling out the background check online. Other than that one item, the rest of the interview process/on-boarding was quite smooth.
