The recruiter contacted me through Linkedin and we started the selection process. After the call with HR, I was sent to do a test with a duration of 2 weeks, very extensive. After doing it and investing many hours in it, they contacted me saying that they liked my position and wanted to move on to the next interview. After sharing my availability for the interview they did not get back to me in 2 weeks, saying they have decided to cancel the position. Mucho tiempo perdido y no he sido el único.

There was no interview. It was scheduled for 2 weeks, and just a handful of minutes before the interview I got an email saying they already incorporated someone for that role. While I appreciate them not wasting my time, this was on a Monday morning that I had planned around the interview, even taking some time off from my current role. This should have been notified beforehand as I'm quite sure this is not something that changed over the weekend.
