Entrevista
I applied online back in May 2010, when you apply you have to take one of those long personality tests.
I recieved a phone call from the manager in July she informed me that she had reviewed my application for pharmacy technition & would like to bring me in for an interview. I called her back the following day and was informed that she was out of town but another manager could conduct the initial interview. I came in a few days later and sat down in the small back office with the manager. She asked me about my current job and previouse jobs. She asked if I was in school, where I went to school and what I was going to school for. She also asked how I like my current job, what my responsibilities are and why I applied to CVS, she asked if I applied at Walgreens or RiteAid as well. She wanted to know how I manage my work schedule with school and if I had worked while in school before. She asked if I had any experience working as a Pharmacy Tech, & why I was interested in becoming one. She told me about how busy their location is and the demands of the job. She told me she was doing the initial interview and the other manager would be conducting the second interview if I was what they are looknig for. The other manager contacted me about 5 days later. She asked me some of the same questions I had been asked in the first interview such as "Why CVS?" and "Why are you leaving your current job or are you planning on keeping that job too?" she also asked where I am going to school, what year I am in school, and what my major is. She asked how much I was looking to make, I told her what I am currently making at my current job and asked what they usually start people at for Pharmacy tech, she did not give me a straight answer. She explained that their location is very busy but I would need to be trained before I could start. She told me I would have to take classes first and asked if that was an issue, she also said I would only be getting up to 20hrs/wk but no more than that. She explained that shifts are 7-9hrs long and she was not sure what I would start at but it wont be near the $10 I am currently making at my job. She then told me she was interested in trying me out to see if I was a good fit for this job. After the interview she asked if I had any questions then told me she needed to do a background check and I would have to take a drug test before being hired. She asked me to contact her in 5 days to see if the results were in and said we will go from there.

For my interview it was a phone interview only. The manager asked very simple questions. Their main concern was if I could do basic math and even asked me a couple questions on the spot.

Pregunta 1
They asked me my availability and proficiency in math.
Quick few questions asked over by the water bottle section in the CVS, got the job in one 15 min interview, questions were behavioral and about availability. They give preference to students in pharmacy school.
