I was an internal applicant. I interviewed on phone with the recruiter. About two weeks later I was set up for a phone interview with the Department Manager. Over an hour long. I thought it went good. A month later I was called and asked to come to RI to interview with a group of people. They paid for all travel and expenses. I had 4 interviews with 2 people interviewing me. Each interview was standard questions. They try to trick you into saying something bad about your supervisor or about a program or policy that they have made. Each interview was an hour long and I presented a power point of how to raise a goal within the company. About two week later, I received a form letter thanking me for my time, we are looking at other candidates. I was hoping for a personal phone call with some feedback. Nothing. If I would have been offered the job I would not have because during the interview a lot of time was talked to me about how they try to make the managers jobs easier and that they want more feedback from the stores. Many people seamed to be wondering around talking with people and not a lot of work was being done which explains the amount of work that is pushed down to the stores.
