Recruiter screen was fine. Invited for a on-site interview which only took 20 minutes and questions were quite surface level. The office in Singapore is not very centrally located so any candidates attending an in person interview would do so with significant effort. Especially if already working elsewhere and having to take time off their work schedule. Afterwards, no update was given regarding my status. Only after I checked the workday did I find I was not proceeding We CANNOT normalize this- if a candidate takes the time out of their work schedule to go to your office all the way in one-north for an in person interview, you MUST have the respect to have that conversation with the candidate afterwards if you decide not to proceed. Simply not contacting them after an IN PERSON interview demonstrates an abysmal lack of respect for the candidates time. Truly disgraceful.
