Quick interview, HR was easy to communicate with. Hiring manager/management asked a few technical questions. Be prepared to answer technical questions. It was 50/50 technical and behavioural. Even though the hiring manager sounded rather unprepared. Overall it was a good experience. Some of the questions were 1. Why CIBC 2. Walk me through your experience 3. Interviewed in October and was told there would be follow up steps over the next month as they completed interviews. Left my application open, never followed up and three months later got an email I didn't get the job.

Basic interview questions. Not a long process. Mainly between 2-3 weeks hiring process. Hiring managers friendly and kind. Describe your experience and why you want to work for the company.
Straight forward, no trick questions - light on technicals. Mostly background based questions and behavioural along with one case-type question. Up to date broader market knowledge was also a key theme during the interview
