      Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en CFIB / FCEI

      Entrevista

      Phone screening went well but when I responded with a follow-up email I was notified my application wouldn’t be moving forward. That didn’t seem right since I’ve been in partner recruitment for three years. Tracked the hiring manager down and explained I’d like to speak with him since I know I can do the job. Got the video interview and I killed it. Presented a deck with my plan of action for my first 90-days. Called out my performance accomplishments and major brads I’ve worked with. Sent the follow-up email to HR and got the same automated response. Asked for feedback both times and got none. I have no idea what happened here. I’m highly qualified for the role and performed well in all my interactions with the company. I’d expect to be a final round candidate not cut out in the first round. Stunned and disappointed. Hoping other candidates aren’t treated like this.

      Thank you for sharing your experience with our recruiting and interview process. I’m really sorry that the opportunity did not go your way. I know we often have many excellent candidates for various roles at the Federation. Taking nothing away from your skills and experience, I will note that roles at CFIB often are quite unique and quite different from those in other organization. We are a non-profit association, and the nature of our partnerships can be very different from larger, for-profit companies. We ensure the savings and benefits from our partnerships are passed on to our members very directly. Our recruiting team may have made the assessment that your partnership skills would be better suited in a more traditional setting. While it is challenging to provide individual feedback to all candidates, if you are still looking for some direct feedback, please feel free to reach out to me directly and I’ll ask the team to provide it as best they can.
