Formal application was submitted directly through my university portal, after which a recruiter reached out to schedule an interview. Unfortunately, she suggested times that conflicted directly with my finals, and when I stated I wasn't available and suggested alternative times, she went completely silent. Clear communication stopped entirely, and after she didn't even reply to me at all after a few days, I had to take initiative. Knowing I needed to follow up, I went out of my way to find a scheduling link hidden in her email signature that she had never actually mentioned. Yet, despite managing to get myself on the calendar, the actual interaction was incredibly disappointing. On the call, the recruiter appeared completely detached, bored, and was very disinterested throughout the conversation. Utterly unprofessional experience from start to finish, showing a complete lack of regard for a student's time.
