4 rounds, With HR, Hiring Manager, Practice Leader and Divisional Manager. First round over the Phone. Subsequent rounds were on-site. On-site interviews each lasted an hour approximately. All the in-site interviews were scheduled in a day.

One Screening call by HR, an email to set up 1st interview where some big shots ask you some basic questions like why you are interested, your academic life, any previous experience and so on. If you pass, they fly you out to one of the major offices and you will be talking with your would be direct manager and one or two high level engineers. They ask you basic questions about controls and get to know you better.

what is relay and how do they work, what do you know about PLC, what did you do in your previous job, what is scada, some basic question about protocols. I was entry level and they do not expect you to know a lot. Basic understanding about I&C can give you a big edge.

Entrevista
There was a 50 minute conference phone interview with Regional Team Lead and Technical Delivery Manager followed by a 1 hour onsite panel interview with Regional Team Lead and hiring manager a couple weeks later. Questions asked were about my background and my interest level in CDM Smith. Everyone was friendly and didn't seem critical of my lack of experience. The person in HR communicated well with me throughout the process. I fulfilled all their requirements, but someone probably had more experience than me. I would gladly interview with CDM Smith again!
