The interview process was actually okay despite some rudeness from the managing director Jennifer Johnson. I was given a verbal offer for the position from Matthew Ornelas-Kuh and communicated with him about start date, and healthcare benefits. The start date we agreed on was about a month and a half away and so I was unsurprised when there was a break in our communication. When I emailed a week before we had agreed to start work I was met with a response saying they had gone in a different direction. A verbal offer is binding and this company had the audacity to blame me for them hiring someone else after having made this verbal offer to me and started to follow up about health care, salary, start date, ect. This is incredibly unprofessional, and I would caution anyone interviewing with them.
