A very tiny group of 5 developers, that were interviewing their future Boss. The head of the area wasn't sure what he was looking for: "a strong lead", "a Manager" or "Director of Software Development" (IMHO, you have to chose one before you call people in.)
All 5 people got to interview the candidate one at a time, most lacked experience interviewing or knew what to ask a potential leader.
